Here we go (FINALLY)

So, I have finally decided to get my life and body put back together. Not that my life has really fallen apart, I just need to get on a productive track. I am the mother of 3 cute kids and the wife to an amazingly supportive and loving husband.

A few year ago I watched a documentary called "Food Inc." and read a book called Eat To Live. These two tools changed the way I looked at food and within a week I was a vegan and down 7lbs. I was feeling AMAZING. That was January 1, 2010. Then I got pregnant the end of August and was still eating great for a few months. Then I fell off the wagon and started eating bad! I gained 50lbs and had a huge baby (9lbs 6oz). Due to having 3 babies, 2 of which being over 9.5lbs, and not taking care of my body I now have something called Diastasis Recti. This is when the connective tissue is damaged that holds your abdomen muscles together. This causes pain from a hurniated belly button and from organs pushing out between my ab muscles. Not to mention the fact that I look 4 months pregnant and constantly get asked when I'm due or people congratulating me on my expectant baby. I am fed up and ready for a change.

I am going to FULLY commit myself to heal my body and mind. I am going to give myself 18 weeks. The first week will be transitioning back into eating vegan. I will start with a week cleanse. I plan to eat only fruit and vegetables and water and some apple cider vinegar. I will also juice and drink smoothies.  I am also going to start going back to the gym 5 days a week. FIVE DAYS A WEEK!! I WILL do this.

I will update my progress as I go. I am currently 140lbs and want to be in the 120's and feel healthy!

 Here I go...........

OK... here we go

I am a mother of 3, K is 4.5 years old, Z is 2.5 years old, and A is .5 years old. I have never been super hot or in shape. My weight ranges between 124-128 normally. I am currently at 142 (baby weight kinda, though it wasn't my baby shoving junk into my face and forcing me not to exercise for 10 months!!)
I am wanting to get to the point where I feel healthy and good about myself. Today I started my juice cleanse.. though it's not a full on juice cleanse. I am breastfeeding my baby and don't want to detox to the point of passing toxins on to her. So, I am juicing in the morning and eating vegi and fruit all day then making a green smoothie at 6pm for dinner.
I plan to do cardio 5 days a week with 3 days of strength training. I will post a pic of me now and one in 6 weeks.
So, here we go!!!
